Horvan Edu Coaching

The problem
Coaching centres run on registers, spreadsheets, notebooks and group chats. One centre needed all of it in one app it could present under its own name.
What we built
A white-label app with separate screens for the office, teachers, students, parents and partner schools; a question bank, paper builder and NTA-style online exams; English and Tamil; a signed licence and signed updates.

Horvans tools

The problem
People need video meetings, messages, documents and tests without installing anything or creating yet another password.
What we built
Four browser apps on one Horvans account: Meet for video rooms (on open-source Jitsi), Chat for messages and groups, Classic for docs, sheets, slides and PDF, Examy for MCQ tests, plus a public question bank.

  1. Call the studio

    Start with a phone call or the enquiry form. Say what the product is for and who will use it.

  2. Shape the plan

    The product is architected: its users, the information it keeps and how its parts fit together.

  3. Build it

    The software is made to that plan, around your work.

  4. Prepare the ground

    Servers, domains and accounts are provisioned so the product is ready for its first user.

  5. Run it, together

    After launch Monarch operates the product. A client portal with Horvans sign-in through Google is being set up.

    The Horvans platform, its account and its forms run on PHP with a MySQL-compatible database.

  • Plain JavaScript in the browser

    Screens built from HTML, CSS and JavaScript without a heavy framework.

  • Open-source where it is proven

    Horvan Meet runs on open-source Jitsi.

  • Signed licences and updates

    ECDSA P-256 signatures, checked in the browser, for Horvan Edu Coaching.

What is Monarch?

The custom software studio of Horvans. It takes SaaS products and web apps through architecture, building, provisioning and operation.

What has Monarch built?

Horvan Edu Coaching, a white-label app for coaching centres (a preview with sample data, open as a demo), and the Horvans tools: Meet, Chat, Classic, Examy and the question bank. Both are linked on this page.

Does Monarch work from templates?

No. Monarch's work is custom software: made for one client's needs, starting from a plan of how that client works.

How much does a build cost, and how long does it take?

Every product is different, so there is no published price list or fixed timeline yet. Ask on a call and the answer will be about your product, not an average.

How do I start?

How do I sign in?

With your Horvans account, using Google. Google sign-in is being set up and the Monarch client portal opens soon; until then the sign-in page says so plainly.

How is Monarch related to Horvans and Builders?

Monarch and Builders are both Horvans studios. Builders makes websites; Monarch makes software. The Horvans site gathers them in one place.
